Re-Mulching
Wood Chip mulch will degrade over time, which is good for your flowers as it provides nutrients, but not so good for appearance. Generally its recommended to add new mulch to the existing every year in the spring to keep that appearance.
Aerating
Every year your soil gradually compacts, making it harder for your grass roots to grow. Core Aerating will take out small plugs of the soil every couple of inches, loosening up the soil and allowing oxygen and water into the soil as well. Once your lawn is aerated, it is a perfect time for seeding and/or spreading compost.
Composting
Adding compost will increase the organic composition in your soil, positively affecting the health of your lawn, making it more receptive to water, and helping to produce lush, thick grass.
